“ Quick trip on a Thursday for a light lunch, went for a seat in the restaurant, staff were quick and attentive, cleared a table ready for us then took an order for drinks, while enjoying our drinks we ordered food soup of the day which was ham and pea, a salmon and avocado sandwich with a side of handcut chips. All were great tasting and perfect portion size, the chips were worth a visit on there own, crispy on the outside and fluffy potato in the middle, will definitely call again for another lunch. ”

I had Steak pie chips peas and gravy and the wife had a steak & mushroom skewer with flatbread and chips, both meals were excellent and hot. Will definitely be calling again when we are back in the area, the service from the staff was also very good nothing was a problem. ”

The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout despite the fact that a large function was going on upstairs at the time (we didn't know this until chatting to one of the staff later).
